Could 2018 finally be the end of the all-white kitchen? As we've seen in the past year or two, the design world has been inching toward this outcome with the use of two-tone color schemes--like we did for our clients last year, shown above--as a means to wean homeowners (and their real estate agents) off the ubiquity and blandness of white-on-white.

Yes, white kitchens are safe.  Yes, they will probably retain their value over time.  But for the love of Pete, it's a new year and time we resolved to inject some color into our lives! :-D As I once pointed out in an article I wrote on LinkedIn , unless you're planning to flip your property there simply is no reason why you can't design for yourself and your needs vs. the tastes of some unknown future buyer some 10 or 20 years down the road.

Color scares people.  I get it.  They're concerned they'll get it wrong. But that's why you have to hire a competent and highly recommended designer who can get you out of your comfort zone using fabulous paint colors and materials for some really wonderful outcomes.  Check out these inspirational kitchens I've admired by other designers:

Deep blues.  Rich greens. Tony taupes. The sky is really the limit for beautifully sophisticated color in the kitchen. Are you ready to take the plunge to leave overdone white-on-white behind for your next project? Call us and we'll create something magical together!
