Green Wall Greatness

I fully admit I’m a bit obsessed.

I. Love. Green. Walls.

There.  I said it.  It’s out and I don’t care who knows it.  And I want one.  Maybe more than one.  Maybe one inside and one outside.  I just can’t get enough.  What is it, I ask myself, that is so appealing?

Well, for one thing it’s art. And architecture.  And landscaping.  And, and, and.

From a design perspective, the possibilities are endless.  You could create anything from a kitchen garden to a zen garden.  I love that it brings greenery to city dwellers.  That it makes indoor air quality better.  And that the technology available makes them easy to care for.

Here are some lovely examples.  Got one to share?

Qivasou Restaurant, Munich brings the outside in.

The Westminster Hotel in London plays with green variations and texture in their wall.

If I had to sit in a conference room all day, this greenery would make me a LOT happier.

Perhaps my favorite of them all are succulent walls. Like paintings, no?
